Subject	need help with my clutch pedal

Message	Ok i had the clutch replaced about a year ago. i never owned a standard tranny before. The problem is that whenever i depress the pedal it returns with enough force to throw me outta the car. its like its super spring loaded or something. Its making my starts really difficult because its hard to control the let-off. any idea how to fix this?? and can i do it myself. HELP!!!!!
